Ann and her colleagues at The Boston Children's Hospital
On Wednesday, February 15, Ann Fogler organized an outreach event at the Boston Children's Hospital. Several singers and accompanist, Linli Wang, performed art songs and musical theater selections for the children at the hospital via a live feed that was streamed onto TV screens in the hospital rooms. This experience was revitalizing. It is important to share music with every type of demographic, and those that are sick are in need of it most, especially children. There is no way to fully gauge how much impact music has on the mind and body, but it has proven to be an important healing device in modern medicine.
Ann looks forward to planning more performance events at The Boston Children's hospital, and is very proud of her colleagues who shared their music and time last week!
