Summer Program- IMFA

Ann Fogler and Emily Clay performing "Sull'aria" by Mozart- IMFA 2013

Ann participated in the International Music Festival of the Adriatic in June 2013 in Duino, Italy. She performed works by Rossini, Brahms, and Mozart.  The program provided her with an intensive music and collaborative environment. Professor Andrew Whitfield worked with Ann and several other singers on vocal technique, acting, expression, and style. Singers also took part in three masterclasses, one of which included Ellen Rissinger, well-known pianist and diction coach. Singers collaborated with both student and professional pianists, and were also assigned to participate in duets or trios. The program was extremely challenging, positive, and made a lasting impact on Ann's technique and musicianship.
